Welcome
to our Community! Co-Directors Rebecca Barbarino and Ally Harris
envisioned a space that they could educate the community on the wellness arts.
What they found was the space now known as the ConsciousNest, which offers
classes in any discipline that fosters growth in the mind, body and spirit. They
offer you the chance to share your field of expertise as they accommodate your
seminar needs.
About the Building
The
Nest was built in 1935 and held a series of other spaces including a synagogue
before it became the ConsciousNest in 2007. Chosen for its spaciousness and
previous use as a sacred space, The ConsciousNest is a friendly and professional
space for learning. The Nest has 1404 square feet of space that is used to hold
holistic classes, workshops and work therapy seminars. The downstairs setting
equips 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen 25 car parking lot with street parking
available, and is capable of accommodating 49 people. The generous area of the
upper level is perfect for lectures such as corporate leadership trainings.
Audiovisual equipment is available for your workshop needs and furnishings for
general seating and tables. This space is also used openly for movement classes
like body sculpting, dance therapy or tai chi. We can offer you the resources to
help you plan or host your holistic event. If you are a practitioner looking for
space for private practices, The Nest offers quiet space for message or
intuitive readings.
The Nest is
available for full use for your event, call for availability and rates today! We
provide morning and afternoon refreshments for an additional fee and you have
access for full use of the space, to keep your event as personal as possible.
